Family Dog Training: My core principle is to teach good dog behavior using positive reinforcement. Each desired behavior is introduced in a positive fashion, and the instant the behavior occurs, the action is reinforced with positive feedback to your dog.
I offer a 6 week basic Family Dog Training classes for dogs six months and older. This class is designed to teach owners how dogs think, learn and communicate, with the goal of producing polite, well-mannered dogs. Owners will be taught the skills to train their dogs to: relax and connect with you, basic commands like sit, lie down, stay, heel, be still in all positions, watch, recall, and possibly tricks.
Cost: $95.00
Time: 6 week course, one class a week

Puppy Classes: Puppy classes are designed to develop friendly, well rounded puppies with good socialization and basic obedience understanding. Puppies love to get on the right foot or should I say “paw” in life, and this is a great beginning to enjoying a lifelong pet. This program is for puppies around 12 - 16 weeks of age or older.
Cost: $80.00
Time: 5 week course, one class a week

Advanced Classes: For Family Dog Training Graduates or other Obedience Classes
Keep up the continued training of your canine with an open hour training session usually the first and third Wednesday of each month; check the monthly schedule for date changes. No pre-registered required but RSVP is, and the topic of training interest for you and your canine friend. You will share the hour with others and we will work on individual training interests.
Cost: $20.00/per session

Agility Classes/Flyball:
Dogs of 1 year of age and over who love to play over and through obstacles will love Agility. Introduction to the basic equipment in dog agility including tunnels, a-frame, dog walk, chute, jumps, table, weave poles and teeter. This is an open class for any level. If your dog loves Tennis Balls then Flyball is a sport for you!
Cost $72.00

Private Consultation: Private lessons are available for behavior consulting, modification, problem solving, obedience and temperament evaluation. Private lessons are tailored to the owner’s concerns and goals, as well as the specific needs of the dog. Private lessons are the ideal place to get help with behavioral issues such as house-soiling, chewing and destructive behavior, barking, fears, shyness, aggression, resource guarding, or that one “problem command” that has not yet been mastered.
Cost: Initial Appointment $95.00/Hour, Follow Up Sessions $75.00 - $95.00/Hour
For House Calls, an additional trip charge depending on mileage to your home.
Time: Dependent on each individual situation

Phone Consultation: I offer phone call consultations for those who have a dog with a behavior or training problem, but cannot work with me in person due to distance or logistical constraints. This can be an effective tool in getting help for you and your dog. Some behavior problems that I can help via phone: anxiety, sound phobias, new puppy concerns, destructiveness, house training, crate training.
Phone consultations are typically around ½ hour to 1 hour in length and the fee is $75/hr. Please call my office at (989) 785-6609 or email me to set up a phone consultation.
